Hello Zillow Family, This tenant was not a good tenant for my business model. In my 27 years as a property owner, I have never encountered a situation like this. This review is untrue. As a property owner, I strive to maintain clear communication; I don’t try to form friendships but rather focus on effective communication in case the tenant needs certain services related to the property. Prior to this tenant moving in, they were informed that the deck would be repaired. A window screen had a hole in it, so I took it with me to get replaced. The front door did work; the locks were just replaced, and he had the new keys in his possession. The tub had a tiny hole that was barely noticeable, and it has since been fixed. On the day this tenant moved in, he was asked to allow the city inspector inside the house for a final inspection of the repairs completed. He lied and said the inspector hadn't arrived that day, and when I showed him the inspector's card on the door, he was at a loss for words. This cost me an additional $500 in fees. Four months later, we finally removed this tenant, but we are still owed back rent.
